Bendigo Telco has a strict policy around the access to customer accounts and services. As per our TCP code compliance different authority levels are set to ensure that your account is protected. You can request authorised representatives to be set at the following levels:
Full Authority
This gives the representative the same authority as the account holder and access to all details on the account. The Authorised Representative is able to authorise all types of changes on accounts including disconnection of services and connection of new services.
Billing Authority
This gives the Authorised representative authorisation to discuss billing and charges on account, but no authority to make any changes to the account or services.
Service Authority
This gives the Authorised Representative authorisation to perform troubleshooting for active services on the account that may be experiencing technical difficulties. No information regarding the account will be provided and representative cannot make any changes to the account.
Bendigo Telco will take reasonable steps to ensure that fraud is not committed on an account when adding an authorised representative, by fully identifying any contacts on the account by name, DOB, address and/or account password and imaging any requesting signed paperwork or communication trail to add a contact to the account.
