Pilot Numbers
All SIP Trunks include a Pilot Number that does not attract a hosting charge. The Pilot Number allows the PBX to authenticate against the AAPT SSaaS Platform. They can also be used to test inbound and outbound calling on the SIP trunk prior to a customer’s numbers being ported.
Pilot Numbers must always be new numbers assigned from the number pool – they cannot be a number that a customer is porting.
SIP Trunk Number Hosting
If customers require numbers or number ranges in addition to the Pilot Number, they will attract Number Hosting charges. The charges for hosting additional numbers and number ranges are as follows.

Port Out Charges
Customers may receive charge(s) when porting away from their existing retailer (Losing Carrier). These charges will vary, and cover costs associated with a service such as early contract termination, technology change, or wholesale number porting administration charges.
If Bendigo Telco is not the retailer of the porting numbers, the customer should seek advice from their existing retailer.

Port In Charges
Port In Charges apply to orders when porting numbers into AAPT’s SSaaS platform. For numbers currently hosted on AAPT SSaaS, DAL or PSTN, these charges do not apply.
Bendigo Telco Porting Hours
- Normal Hours are between 9 AM – 3 PM, Monday to Friday. Excludes NSW Public Holidays
- Extended Hours occur between 7 AM – 9 AM and 6 PM – 9 PM from Monday to Friday, or any time on Saturdays
- Porting during Extended Hours is subject to the agreement and availability of the Bendigo Telco provisioning teams and the Losing Carrier, and are conducted by AAPT on a case-by-case basis.
- Ports cannot be scheduled between 3 – 6 PM Monday to Saturday, anytime on Sundays, or National or NSW Public Holidays

Category A (Simple Port)
Category A Ports are used to port Numbers that are, prior to Porting associated with:
- a Simple Telephone Service; or
- a non-Simple Telephone Service which the Losing Carrier has declared can be ready for Porting using an automated process within two Business Days of receipt of an SNA.
- The scheduled port window is during Normal Hours.

- The LNP (Local Number Portability) Charges in the table above are only applicable in situations where Telstra is the losing carrier for a given LNP Batch transaction or PNV Request.
- Complex Ports (Category C) outside Normal Hours (9am-3pm Mon-Friday) are by agreement with AAPT LNP Team and subject to availability of staff. LNP Team normal working hours exclude all public holidays in NSW.
- After the LNP Port Cutover start time, changes that necessitate a retarget or re-scheduling of the Port Cutover time, will incur an LNP Emergency Return Fee.
- All porting activity is subject to 3rd Party Carrier restrictions, AAPT standard porting hours and practices. AAPT’s standard porting hours, as at the date of Agreement, are 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday. LNP Port Cutovers outside of these hours can be arranged if specially planned, subject to resourcing constraints.
- Notwithstanding the details in the LNP Charges Table, Simple Ports (Category A) can only be executed 9am to 3pm Mon to Friday.
- PNV (Port Number Verification) transactions are optional. Therefore, PNV related charges will only apply when the Partner Customer instigates a PNV transaction Request or if a PNV transaction Request is ‘rejected’ by the Losing Carrier.
Additional Category C Charges
In addition to the above LNP Charges, the following charges are applicable to all Category C Port Transactions, regardless of the quantity of numbers involved in the port & irrespective of who the Losing Carrier is – for the situations described below.

- A LNP After Hour Admin Charge applies for ALL CAT C LNP Batch Cutovers conducted before 7am or after 6pm (Mon-Fri) or for any LNP Batch Cutover conducted on a Saturday.
- A Late Retarget relates to a situation where a scheduled Category C Port Cutover is rescheduled by the Partner Customer within 7 days of the original scheduled cutover date.
- AAPT will be notified of a Port Out by the gaining carrier and will inform the Partner Customer only after the Port Out has been completed. AAPT will charge the Partner
