All ADSL services require an active phone line to function. If you do not have a current active phone line, there will be associated set up costs to reinstate a phone line for your ADSL service to run off:
- $69.95 – a previous connection existed at your service address, however is no longer activated.
- $159.95 - a previous connection existed at your service address, however is no longer active and a technician is required to go out to the site to activate.
- $299.00 – there is no phone line present and a new line needs to be installed.
To confirm that you have a phone line, you can call 127 22 123 and record the number that you hear.
